Victor invited me to the annual gala thing held in Memphis last year and it turned out to be pretty fun. get a complimentary free night stay at Memphis Park Royal hotel and the bed is awesome shit, i fell asleep instantly the moment my body lay on it. *super kuazhang i know, but its true!

get to know lots of great nice pretty friends, and i was happy, to finally hv a weekend getaway from Lincoln.

went there w Mandy, TikLoong and Mike.

i thought it would be awkward since i never really talked to theme before but surprising our 12 hours drive there was pretty fun.

Happy Chinese New Year, 新年快乐!!

im here studying for my paper while my family r eating bakkua and all the awesome cny food back home, and i miss home.

cny in the States were pretty much just the same like how we spend our usual weekends, except w this awesome steamboat 'reunion dinner' and fighting for food w moi 'lovely' housemates and neighbors.

oh last saturday, a stupid thief broke into my house n stole my brand new iphone 4s, and i had filed a report at Lincoln Police Dept and the lengjai police was very nice, tried very hard to find it for me. didnt put much expectation on it though, so now im phone-less, call Luther if u guys wanna look for me alright?

my new year resolution is to be a nicer person, so i will not curse that stupid thief although im very dulan abt losing my phone, which i just bought it 2 months ago wtf and i had 555 of NTC workout mins in it, now i have to start all over again. not planning to buy any phone yet cos these ppl keep tempting me w the soon-to-be out iphone5 which hv awesome clearer front camera, i guess, not sure abt the validity of the news though. oh ya and stupid AT&T yang not ber-caring at all refuse to renew/cancel(or idk how to name it) my contract wtf i m very sad now.

thats it i guess. mummy said my sway-ness will go away in this new year, and hopefully its true, there're some snow fall when we r fooling around w Louie on New Year Eve and Zee said sth very chim in chinese, sth like this : '瑞雪映丰年' (not sure which chinese character that is correct to use), and she explained, which means: ''when it snows on new year day/eve, that means this auspicious snow is welcoming/expecting a prosperous new year!'' hohohoho gongxi gongxi!

its Martin Luther King's Day and we have one day off! hooray!

and now im finally back to blogosphere, for good.

past few months had been busy and life as u know it is, is treating me pretty good excluding some little dramas. but im usually good at forgetting unhappy stuff so yea, fuck it, i dont care hahaha.

after all the chaotic life events, im finally all set for school and my 'domestic' life here.

just so u know, i went to minnesota on thanksgiving break for the tax free black friday sale!

and our trip pretty much is all about food and shopping.

so i'll let the pictures do the talking (lazy bum wtf)

drove all the way to Minnesota and stop by Drakes to say hi to Edwin, Sziq, Xuan and Celina =) college mate reunion yo

Hello people, my final is finally over and I'm in Miami right now!!!
I'm in Miami, bitch!! And I finally met my bestf Hennis Tung after 2 years not seeing her! Omg soulmate reunion and I'm super excited can!!!

Another happy story of the day: today I got all my grades for my first semester in the states, 3As and an A-. Imma pretty satisfied but I think I can do better if I work harder. To be honest, I'm very happy to get this unexpected A for my FM class consider that I did not do very well in my finals.

Downloaded this blogger apps in my iPhone so I guess I can keep u guys updated during my whole Florida trip after all.

Zee persuaded me to download this NTC(Nike Training Club) apps on my iphone and it works wonders!!!! im advertising it to all my friends here so that i can have more workout partner to play w me lol.

the workout set is crazy shitz, both of us were sweating like a cow and panting like siao on our yoga mat after the 30 minutes set. banyak cheesin!

and now, my thigh and abs are hurting like mad. cannot even walk properly. le sigh, i have a body of a 70 yrs old. #majorloser

last Saturday, went to Sheldon Museum of Art in our campus to watch a play, The Crucible in contemporary setting.

its was super tiring, i was having a hard time balancing myself on the yoga mat, but, it was fun fun fun! Saki persuaded me to join her after HipHop Hustle class, and i ended up joining Hip Hop Hustle, Yoga and Zumba in a row. 3 hours of working out is crazy, my muscles are aching like crazy right now but it was all worth it. i feel like a supermodel right now bahahahaha!

time flies, its november now, another month has passed.

it is amazing how fast it is, in a blink of eye, i have already been here for 2 months +.

gosh, see!!! i didnt even notice that.

so far, life had been treating me good, and it turns out to be better now.

study is kinda okay, and i am starting to have more friends now.

it isnt that bad afterall.

life here is pretty simple and relaxing.

people here are nice.

and im gaining weight lalalala

its turning fall now, the neither too hot nor too cold, just perfect transition period is over, its finally crazy cold here.

Beauty and the Beast the musical

phew, 440 exam is finally over.

went to the Lied Performance Art Centre for ze Beauty and the Beast musical show with Luther after that.

it was crazy cold and i was wearing a super high heeled pump, with a mini skirt. call me a superhero! thankuverymuch!

the musical was super awesome, brought back all my childhood memories, the casts were amazing, they have this beautiful voices and the musical accompaniment was great too.

overall, 5 STARS! LOVE IT!!

went for a late dinner after that, searching all over the place for a place that serves decent mealthat is opened at 10.30pm =( life! this is the time when i start to call my friends out for yumcha or mamak when i was back in Malaysia. and now, i have to look for restaurants high and low, other than McDonald that is opened at this time for decent meal. =( emo.

luckily we found this place at Haymarket before the kitchen is closed!

it was a pretty decent meal given that we had been starving for the whole evening. MAJOR FAIL. because we were late for the show, no time to grab a bite before the musical starts. sien max.

yes, i know i really should blog more.

little updates:

got my iphone4S last friday and it is pretty cute.

(laobeh aunty finally get to use a smartphone to have all those canggih apps. fml im such an outdated aunty i know)

fyi, bc im a non tech savvy person, and i only use it for call, msg, whatsapp, and take picture.

the camera is awesome. the Siri thing that everyone is all crazy about is pretty fun but u cannot use it when there's no internet coverage which complicates the system a bit.

anyhow, it is a pretty good looking phone, and very user friendly too.

overall, its worth the money i paid for =) wee.

am having a 4 days fall break right now.

and we went for a late-night movie just to have some more life instead of rotting at home watching downloaded hongkong drama or TV series show while munching on snacks.

oh fyi i gained so much weight i dont even wanna look at my body right now. =(

last saturday Des suggested to have dinner at Haymarket, and off we went to The Oven which serve awful (in my opinion), but decent in a way that we can take it as an Americanized Indian cuisine. sigh i miss non overprized and delicious mamak food.

i love giggling over cute guys, being extra bimbo when we shop for cosmetics, getting high over the joy that we found the perfect shade of lip color (which is a very rare occasion fyi), shopped like we kena toto, went crazy over shoes, getting a little too excited when we finally met a Malaysian lady who worked in the customer service department (small world), buying the same shoes with different colors, impulsively buying a similar furry coat with moi girlfriend. Life's good.

hello world,

i've reached Lincoln, safe and sound albeit im a lil sick-ish and very jet lagged.

my biological clock is all fucked up, sleeping at 1am, waking up at 4.30am. damn, this is real bad. and i feel sleepy at 3/4pm in the afternoon which makes my day sucks.

and im home sick. i miss my family and my friends back home.

i hv no close friends here to talk to when i feel down n all sorts which is kinda depressing.

hi people,

recently there's too much anger hiding in my soul n i think im gonna explode soon.

maybe its true, maybe i shouldnt put up too much hope n faith on humanity.

they cheated u once, they'll definitely cheat u twice, it will happen again n again n it will never end.

albeit im not ready to give up on the optimistic, soft side of me yet. i know im slowly turning back into the cold, hard, soul-less monster that i once used to be. which i seriously dont want to. i still want to believe in fairy tales, and flowers n butterflies and all the beautiful stuff. i still want to have faith on human, i still want to think that the world is amazing.

i've been through the dark age, and trust me, it was the worst choice i had made. i lose all hope in the world n i start to not care about anything. seriously, ask Huii, i annoyed her much by not caring about anything. it just seems like im excluding myself from the world and nothing else matters to me anymore. until i met a friend who totally changed me, although we have not talked in ages. but im always grateful that i met him. he taught me about love and all the beautiful side of the world n all human. the cold bitter heart of mine start to melt off bits by bits and here i am, the courageous, fearless fighter whom is always (well, not always but most of the time) optimistic and believe in love, kindness and happiness.

but then its true, although its heart breaking to admit this: the world is everything but never a fairy tale. people lie, scheme, hurt the others to survive.

however, as long as we dont stop believing, the world WILL be a better place to live in, there's still nice, kind and warm people who will love and care for us. we just have to beware, among the nice people, there're still scumbags who live by destroying other's life.

trust whom are worthy of your trust, love whom love u unconditionally, open your eyes widely and evaluate the worthy-ness of one before u give in everything to him/her. people will use you, if you let them. but, people can only do to you what you allow them to do. have faith in yourself and dont ever stop believing, sooner or later u will be in a better place. be strong.

phew, its so comforting to know that while all things fail, i still can write in this tiny little space of mine, just mine, purely mine, MY blog. and feel like i had conquered the world afterwards, every burden is left behind and i'll walk to the future knowing that im a better person, i deserve to be happy and to be loved.

hello people,

i m finally admitted to UNL after long grueling wait.

and what i needed to do right now is to wait for my i-20, apply for visa, book for plane ticket, find a place to live there, blablabla yadda yadda yadda.

i m kinda excited to leave here and start fresh there.

but at the same time i feel that there's part of me doesn't feel a sense of closure here.

complicated feelings but oh well, this is life, i'll hv to suck it up n deal with it.

last week took an unexpected turn, was supposed to go for a family trip to Phuket but my sister got infected by denggue fever so we ended up canceling the trip.

i had been staying in the hospital to take care of her for the whole long week which is super tiring. but im glad that she's alright now.

went back to Penang for Huii's bday celebration right after sister got discharged from the hospital. it was indeed a fun girly weekend i had with Huii, Leonie, Doris and all.

will blog more when im done unpacking and reading the book i borrowed from Leonie (it's such a page-turner, i cant really put it down once i start reading it)

recently, there's something really bad happened to my best friend's family, and they really need the mass' attention to support their case so that justice can be brought to the death.

her uncle's death is all over the news. read it up, guys. and do your part to share the news.

最近没有事情做，每天的生活日夜颠倒。

im dealing pretty well with my breakup right now.

but i think i played too hard, and now its taking toll on my body.

i feel sick-ish and sleep deprived these days.

my way of handling this is getting a distraction, to party more and to find a rebound guy.

很鬼累。

had been going through a lot lately.

broke up with my boyf because i cannot stand his cheating habit anymore. i shall not elaborate more on this. i can only say this is the final straw. this break me down, and i finally gathered enough courage to stand up for myself.

the anger raging in me and because of that i did some really stupid stuff, eg. lectured the girl, and send the same thing to the girl's boyf.

then she scolded me, which i think its kinda stupid too. i was like 'WTF?' when i saw that.

very high school-ish. i know. *le sigh*

i can never be certain that we will not get back together again just like how we always did.

he cheated on me -> i confronted -> he apologized -> we fought -> i cried -> i forgive -> we got back together.

and it start all over again after sometime.

VICIOUS CYCLE *full stop*

its time to end this cycle. its over now.

although i still love him too much to let go, its time to move on.

i can only say: Don't take people for granted. No matter how much they love you, people get tired eventually

maybe in the future, we'll get back together when he finally prove his words and become a better and loyal boyf.

something that meant so much to me had come to an end

第一次远距离争吵，是在facebook无意中发现他跟别的女生暧昧的对话。冷静的把电脑关掉。走入shower，打开花洒，一个人蹲在shower里面抱着自己哭，不敢跟任何朋友说，因为怕大家劝我放弃。那种感觉，很难忘。那种哭到很用力，很想呕的感觉，很恐怖。

摊牌，争吵，原谅。

没有想到这样快，第２第３第４次发现暧昧的讯息这样快又发生了。

还是１样：躲起来哭，摊牌，争吵，原谅。
不一样的是，心情平静很多。有少少麻木了。

然后满心兴奋要录一个birthday video from他的朋友们＋家人的祝福，为他打气。那里知道，又发生了。
心情好像inflated balloon这样down下来。

valentine想录自己的piano的歌给他做礼物since他不要我原本要买的wallet。那里知道，valentine前一天又来多一次。
没有力了。这次很快原谅了。

没有想到，昨天发现的那１单过后，我竟然有一种绝望了，我什么都不要了，的感觉。
所以我决定什么都不要了，真的。

可是１想到我committed 这样多的relationship就这样结束了。

我有一种：我不敢相信的感觉。

然后又躲在shower里面轰轰列列哭到呕。

i had been really busy last week juggling work and fun, and i think i managed to balanced them out quite well. *thumbs up*

done with my Psychology midterm, and TOEFL exam. like finally.

and partied with my crazy bunch of friends who came all the way from Penang just to celebrate Euzan's Bday. it was one hell of a great party. although i did embarrassed myself and got really drunk in the end. no doubt, it was an amazing night.

hoooray, psychology midterm 考完了。
虽然100 提我有1/4 完全不会做，可是尽力就好了 hahaha。

这几天真的有在勤力读书。
男朋友的功劳很大。因为他每天放学回来，陪我熬夜读书，陪我睡觉。
so called陪也是对着skype陪啦。因为最近我时常睡不着，所以远在美国的男朋友先生天天开着skype，１边看drama，１边陪我睡觉。伟大hor？

那天读书读到sien的时候，我们２个去lacoste的website shopping，然后我看中一个sweater，jeo他买给我，然后我再送他那个他喜欢的lacoste的鞋。
他竟然骂我笨。他说不如我自己买sweater给自己，然后他自己买他的鞋lo。
okay，我承认我智商低可以了没有？

and then 有一天我睡觉梦到有一个magical machine可以暂时把我变去男朋友在美国的家，然后我变去那边跟他yiyap １个小时就会被变回来了。哪里知道，刚刚变过去的时候，我的alarm就响了！妈的，真的很讨厌lo。

睡醒的时候跟男朋友讲：可怜hor？你。明明有女朋友的，又抱不到，摸不到。不如我们分手几个月给你空间去抱别人咯。

突然吃饱太得空想bitch１下人。

比如说有１些女子我不懂她是太没有自信心还是假假作做要博人家称赞她，明明就瘦到好象竹干这样了，还时不时说／post在fb：aiya我很肥了blablabla。

看了就让人很想兜１巴星过去，给他２个巴掌。

年輕時，總會咬著牙告訴自己，忍一下就過去了，一年見一次面就要覺得足夠了，於是在其他剩餘一個人的時間裡，會安排自己做很多很多事情來排解寂寞空虛，開始寫大量的信和卡片，拍大量的無聊生活照再拿去相片館洗照片，然後期待著寄信與收信這兩件事之外，每天更是期待用著珍貴電話卡講個覺得很奢侈的十分鐘長途電話。

那時候每當我想他的時候，總會聽著一些歌來慰藉我思念他卻看不到他的時刻，到現在依稀記得這種幽幽淡淡地的哀愁，那時我以為可以這樣一日復一日，一直我們很快就能修成正果，只是這樣總是自欺欺人一下子就像泡泡般的破滅了。

我不是不敢再談遠距離戀情，而是我這段戀情談下來，我真的受夠了那種當你難過時，卻無法即刻面對面擁抱，對我來說那是一種比肉體上的傷口還要疼的內心傷，一直到現在我沒辦法接受男人對我說：「別哭了，我好心疼。」那對我來說就像是一句陌生人對你說的場面話。

回想當時，我的黑夜就是你的白天，好幾個晚上當我在房間裡大哭的感覺很無助，總是有些什麼感受想要說，但卻找不到人說，於是就這樣憋了很久、很久。我想，人總是在最絕望的時候會選擇「我什麼都不要了」的決心吧。從那一刻清醒後，我不想接你的電話，我不是故意任性，我不是不愛你，我不是變心，我只是想跟你分手，我想要讓你知道這一回我是認真的要與你分手，你可以說我無情，也可以說我不夠堅定，但對我而言這段遠距離讓我想要和其他人談一場「正常」的戀愛，至少在我需要肩膀的時候，我可以毫不考慮的靠在上面，就算我的眼淚流不停，但也至少是哭濕了那可靠的肩膀。

其實我的電話號碼一直到現在從那時候到現在一直都沒變過，而你也只在當時我激烈反應下宣告這段戀情無疾而終，老實說，直到前幾年我還是很恨你，因為總是會想起你在電話那頭說：「除了妳，我不會再愛上別人。」、「妳是我這輩子最在意的人。」我真的相信了，所以我才決定不接電話，我想知道到底有多愛、多在意。

但事實證明，人在某種時刻下，會被迫說出自己沒有把握的話，就在分手多年後，我把這道裡看得更加透徹，我不想恨你，也不想笑你，只是謝謝你讓我看清了你當年嘴巴裡所說的甜言蜜語。

幾年下來，我還是知道你在幹嘛，跟誰談戀愛，看到你們甜蜜合影，你好像沒改變，感覺上還是跟以前一樣比女生還脆弱，我很驚訝，但不是因為你『又』談戀愛，而是為什麼過了那麼久，個性還是和以前一樣，未曾改變過，這讓我不禁猜想，其實你是一個被動的人，不希望改變自己太多，你希望別人加入你的生活，而不是你努力去融入別人的生活，這麼一來，當時我和你之間的故事，或許就有個結局明白了。

i am having major sleeping problem lately, which pissed me off quite a lot.

chinese new year的 resolution 是＝不要skip class

so far，开学２天了都有做到 hahaha

刚刚去跟一堆烂赌鬼吃饭庆祝大哥szeyi的 bday，大家一吃饱就来不及来不及快快驾车回去赌博了，很狼死。好学生（eherm，我）在一旁读书。真的！

新年虽然没有回去penang，可是还是跑不掉大吃大喝的tradition。

整粒肚子大大粒肿着，非常恐怖。

过完年好puasa了，不然我真的会被大家笑死。

去年我经历了很多，改变了很多。

今年真的是去美国之前最后１餐团圆饭了。

很开心，真的。

Voodoo after 7aste

when i was in Penang last Nov/Dec (it had been a while, that explains why i cant remember exactly when), went out with ze gang. planned to join the 7aste party but its too crowded and all. so we chao-ed and went to club at Voodoo instead.

i had so much fun that night aka too much alcohol consumption which lead to a massive muscle ache on my calf due to extensive dancing and a few severe scratches on my precious new watch which i have no idea how i got those.

and FYI the Bangkali curry rice after party was nice n soothing. me like!

and still, I HAD SOOOO MUCH FUN.
